Just remember that the first thing you write will probably not be very good. Things will get better if you keep trying. I have plenty of embarrassing compositions hidden away (some very recent) and a few decent ones that I don't hide. Some would say that all of my compositions are embarrassing. They are, of course, entitled to their opinion. I learned something from all of them, though.
